SAFETY
It is the policy of Artisan Constructors, LLC to provide a safe and healthful work place for
all employees, subcontractors, and site visitors. To ensure our jobsites are safe for all our employees, subcontractors and site visitors, it is a condition of employment with Artisan
Constructors, LLC that all associates comply with all safety rules, instructions and
procedures outlined within the Artisan Constructors, LLC Policy and Safety manual
including compliance with all applicable governmental regulation and safety requirements. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
The Safety Director, Project Managers, Superintendents and Field Operations Foremen shall have the full support of management in enforcing the provisions of this policy as it
relates to responsibilities assigned to them. A safe job site is the responsibility of everyone
on the jobsite. Any employee or subcontractor that observes an unsafe condition or practice has a duty to correct that condition or practice and to report immediately the unsafe
condition or practice to an Artisan Constructors, LLC supervisor. If, in the Project Superintendent’s judgment, anyone on the job site is within an unsafe environment, the Project Superintendent shall immediately take steps to correct the unsafe condition,
document the actions taken and ensure that all personnel are removed from the unsafe
area until the condition is corrected.
As an integral part of the Artisan Constructors LLC Safety Philosophy, Artisan
Constructors,LLC has implemented the following requirements:
Abide by all federal OSHA, state and local safety regulations as applicable to
the jobsite and construction industry.
Apply safety practices to all jobs.
Exercise common sense judgment in the application of this policy.
Protect the public from all hazards that result from Artisan Constructors LLC
construction operations.
